The Highland distillery presents a new member of its range

The Ardnamurchan Distillery expands its product portfolio with a new release: The Ardnamurchan 10 Years Old will be released annually as a limited batch. 16,380 bottles of Ardnamurchan 10 Years Old 2025 are available worldwide.

As always, Ardnamurchan is committed to great transparency and provides access to detailed information such as the selected casks via a QR code on the bottle labels. The Ardnamurchan 10 Years Old was batched from 98% bourbon barrels and 2% sherry cask. 52% of the whisky used was unpeated, 48% was made from peated malt.

Anyone who remembers that there has already been an Ardnamurchan 10 year old is absolutely right: a 10th anniversary bottling was released last year. However, unlike the Ardnamurchan 10, which will be released regularly in the future, that whisky was blended from 100% non-smoked whisky and was finished in Paul Launois casks (we reported).

The Ardnamurchan 10 Years Old was bottled in natural colour and without chill-filtering at 46.8% vol. Incidentally, 54% of the bottles are made from recycled glass. The recommended retail price is given by the importer Rolf Kaspar GmbH as 59.95 euros.

Producer's tasting notes for the Ardnamurchan 10 Years Old

Nose: coconut and oat biscuits, zesty orange peel, salt and sun-kissed boat deck, autumnal leaves on the bonfire. Strawberry laces and wine gums, fresh mint.

Palate: mouth coating, custard creams, vanilla wafer, brine, porridge oats, earthy smoke.

Finish: smoke lingers, maritime and warming.
